The Government of Pakistan has convened a meeting of the Transaction Committee for the privatization of three DISCOs.
A key meeting on the privatization of FESCO, GEPCO and IESCO will be held in Islamabad on January 16.
The privatization of electricity distribution companies with the participation of the private sector will be considered.
The Transaction Committee will review the enterprise level due diligence reports.
Financial advisors Alvarez & Marcel will give a detailed briefing in the meeting.
