- I am directed to state that the School Education Department desired to inculcate a sense of personal responsibility among students, promoting ownership of actions at home, school and community. The Competent Authority has declared the theme of the month as “RESPONSIBILITY BEGINS WITH ME to celebrate during the month of May 2026. Following activities and events in Public Schools across Punjab shall be arranged by involving parents, teachers and community members, promoting a collaborative effort to arrange and organize it in a befitting manner:

Morning Assembly Sessions

Head/Teacher delivers a 3-minute talk daily on self-discipline, punctuality, and homework
Students prepare 1-min speech on “My Responsibility to Myself”.

Responsibility Pledge
Personal Responsibility Chart
The teacher encourages students to maintain a daily chart, homework, uniform, hygiene and time management.
My School, My Duty Campaign
The teacher supervises and assigns to students one area per class: garden. corridor, notice board and lab.
Students take turns for cleanliness, decoration and discipline duty in the school with the assistance of janitors and gardeners.
Respect & Anti-Bullying Drive
Sessions may be arranged for poster making and classroom contracts
Students sign “No Bullying”
Thank You Card Activity
Teachers encourage students to provide material to write thank-you notes to parents guards, janitors and teachers.
The teacher encourages students about the cleanliness of our streets and schools which is not just the duty of sanitary workers; responsibility begins with me when you stop littering and pick up waste.
Community Cleanliness Drive
Arrange sessions for awareness among students by example, such as cleaning the surroundings of the school to show that every citizen is responsible for a clean Pakistan.
Teacher teaches students that when I keep my area clean, I protect my health, my environment, and set a standard for others to follow.
Home Responsibility Project
Teacher sensitises students about responsibility at home to save water. electricity and help parents
- I am further directed to request you to ensure that all schools in your district participate in these activities and celebrate the theme of the month with zeal and zest. A consolidated weekly report be shared, including pictorial evidence of all activities/tasks in this department via e-mail ddm2.cmmf@gmail.com and WhatsApp groups.
